S Selvidge Judge of the Probate Court of Hickory County having examined the annexed instru- ment purporting to be the last will of John W.Rachy (sic) and Signed by him and by Micholas (sic) Orr and Wm. H. Morse as Subscribing witnesses thereto and having heard the evidence of the Said Nicholas Orr and Wm. H. Morse in Relation to the execution of the Same do declare and adjudge Said instru- ment to be the last will and testament of the Said John W. Richey deceased late of Hickory County by testimony whereof I have hereto Set my hand and affixed the Seal of the Probate Court at office March 1st, 1882. (signed) Geo. S. Selvidge Judge of Probate February the 25th, 1873 I John W. Richey of Hickory in the State of Missouri do this day Make this My last will and testament I do Hereby will and demise at My death unto My wife Nancy C Richey all of My property and effects Both Real and personal during Her natural lifetime or so long as She Shall Remain My widow and I further will And demise unto My four children All the property and effects Remaining at the death of My Said Nancy C Richey to Be Equally divided Between them To wit Westly E Richey one fourth, John R Richey one fourth Nancy Anne V Richey one fourth and William C Richey one fourth and to my daughter Martha E Keeton or Her Heirs one dollar and no more to be paid thirty days after probate of My last will and testament I do Hereby appoint and desire My wife Nancy C Richey and My Son John R Richey as Executors of this My last will and testament I do Hereby assign this will Being in my right mind in the presence of Nicolas Orr and Wm H Morse his John W (X) Richey Mark We the undersigned Certify that John W Richey Signed the above will and testament in our presence in witness whereof we Subscribe our names (signed) Nicholas Orr (signed) Wm H Morse I here certify that the en- closed will was by me recorded in book A at pages 162, 63, + 64 on the 14th day of March 1882 (signed) Geo S Selvidge Judge of Probate Additional Comments: Transcribed by Michael Richey , 4x great-grandson of John W.
