DeHaven Enlisted with the Confederate Southern Army in Howard County, Missouri on October 15, 1864. Served in F. Perkins Regiment, Clarks Division, Company E, 11th Mo. Infantry Col. Murray in command at time of surrender, earlier it was Col. K.L. Perkins Captains and Lieutenants – H.Q. Martin, Lieutenant Ben Howard, later Townsend Martin. Prisoner of War, surrendered at New Orleans by Gen. E.K. Smith, May 26,1865 and Paroled at Alexandria, La. June 7,1865 Discharged from C.S.A. May 29th, 1865 Pension for Ex-Confederate Soldiers applied for August 3rd, 1920 and filed on August 6th, 1920. Note: according to one of the Military Records the 11th Mo.
