Dalton Cemetery, Jackson County, Missouri Located at 39th & Lee Summit Rd Independence, Missouri. Cemetery is now covered with houses and a church. The Dalton cemetery was not moved. Developers either covered over the tombstones that were standing or hauled them off. The old cemetery site is now covered with a church and large parking lot. Attached is a listing, which includes many of my ancestors, of people buried in this cemetery. It had at least 4 names; Dalton; Luttrel-Dalton; Harris-Johnson; and Johnson.
