Sister Mary Elizabeth Iseman, RSM, 82, died Staurday at St. John Hospital in 
Joplin, Mo. She had been a Sister of Mercy for 65 years having celebrated her 
60th anniversary as a nun in 1965.
She was a graduate of the Bush Conervatory of Music in Chicago, and had taught 
music in Kansas City and Independence, Mo., and Lincoln, Nebraska, 20 years in 
Joplin and at Marshall, Mo., for about 30 years.
Survivors include one brother, John J. Iseman, Kansas City, Mo., and a sister, 
Mrs. B.J. Bless Jr., Weston.
The body will be at the Sisters of Mercy Convent, 600 N. Liberty, Independence, 
after 3pm today. The Rosary will be recited at the convent Monday at 8pm.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 9am in St. Mary's Church, Independence, with 
burial in the Independence Cemetery.
