Snow Mrs. Laura E. Snow, 47 years old, died yesterday at her home, 14 East Thirty-second Street. She is survived by her husband, Leon G. Snow. Burial in Toronto, Kas. Woodson County Journal Thur Jun 7, 1917 pg 4 Mrs. Laura Buck Snow, eldest daughter of Mrs. M. M. Buck, died in Kansas City Saturday. Heart disease was the cause of her death. The body was brought to Toronto by her husband on Monday afternoon, and taken to the C. E. Beardsley home. Mrs. Snow worked for the Jones Drygoods Co. department store. On her return from her work Saturday evening she was in high spirits over having led in sales for the day. Almost immed- iately she began to complain of feeling very weary, and that she felt queer physically, a different feeling from any she had ever expe- rienced. Her husband started to give her att- ention, when she collapsed, and very soon was gone. Mrs. Ralph Maxson and son, Loraine, arrived Tuesday afternoon, accompanied by Leon Snow from Kansas City. The funeral service is held this afternoon at the Methodist church, in charge of Rev. H. L Koonce, at 3:30. The hand of affliction has been heavy on the mother, Mrs. M. M. Buck, the past year. Her oldest son, Ed Buck, a well known news- paper man on the Pacific coast, died less than a year ago. Her other son, C. A. Buck, once editor of the Republican, died in Iowa last September. And Mrs. Snow is the third child to go within a year. Mrs. Ralph Maxson, of Beaumont, Texas, is the only child left her. A grandson, little Francis, son of the late C. A. Buck makes his home with his grand- mother.
