Edwin Cole 

    Carthage, Mo. -- Edwin J Cole, eight-year-old son of Mr and Mrs Robert L Cole,
1035 Lillie Dr, died at 8:18 am, Saturday at McCune-Brooks hospital here where he
had been a patient since April 30, following a long illness. 

    The youth was born June 30, 1970, in Carthage. He attended Calvary Presbyterian
church in Carthage. 

    Surving, in addition to his parents, are a brother Michael Cole, of the home; a
sister, Miss Lisa Cole, of the home; maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Joseph
Miller, Carthage route 3; and paternal grandmother Mrs Rose M Cole, Highland
Estates. 

    Private graveside services will be held at 1 pm Monday at Park Cemetery. 

    Burial is under direction of Ulmer Funeral Home. 

    Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's Children Hospital, in care of
Ulmer Funeral Home.
