      MRS SIDNEY KNIGHT DEAD

  Passes Away at the Home of Her
        Sister in Sedalia 

    Word was receved in Carthage today that Mrs Sidney Knight, aged about 30 years,
had died this morning at the home ofher sister, Mrs Menefee, at Sedalia, where she
had been for the past two years, as an invalid. Although she had long been ill, it
was not known here that her end was imminent. 

    The deceased was formerly Miss Louise Gibbs of Carthage. She and Mr Knight were
married five or six years ago [2 Apr 1910]. She had lived in Carthage for many years
previous to her marriage, and her parents died here. The family resided in
Carterville before moving here. The particulars of the funeral arrangements have not
yet been announced.

          Knight Funeral Sunday 

    Funeral services for Mrs Sidney Knight who died at Sedalia Tuesday morning, will
be held from the S C Boggess residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Relatives from
a distance are expected to arrive Saturday night. 

    The body reached Carthage this morning and was taken to the Boggess home, where
it will remain until after the funeral. Burial will be in Park cemetery.

Mary Louise Gibbs was born 9 APR 1883 in Traer, Tama County, Iowa and buried with
her parents Henry Bacon Gibbs and Mary Louise Smith in Carthage at Park cemetery.
