Jasper County, Missouri Obituaries - Joseph H. KRAFT Joplin News Herald (defunct), Friday, December 9, 1932 and Saturday, December 10, 1932 *************** FORMER NEOSHO GROCER DIES AT HOME HERE J. H. Kraft, 85 years old, died at 11:15 o'clock last night at his home, 1915 Moffet avenue. Death was due to complications. He suffered a broken hip about eight months ago. Mr. Kraft had resided in Joplin more than twelve years, and before coming here had lived at Neosho about thirty- two years, where he was in the grocer business several years. He is survived by two sons, Byron Kraft of Fort Smith, Ark., and Garett Kraft, at home, and three daughters, Mrs. Glenn Woolfenden and Mrs. Arthur Ashley of Neosho, and Melba Kraft, at home. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Bingham Mortuary in Neosho. Burial will be in the Neosho cemetery. The family requested that no flowers be sent. ********************* Sat., Dec. 10 KRAFT - Funeral services for Joseph H. Kraft, 85 years old, who died Thursday at his home, 1915 Moffet avenue, were held this afternoon at the Bigham chapel in Neosho, with the Rev. William Oakes, pastor of the First Congregational church of Neosho, officiating.
