Tuesday, June 24, 1941 ************** SERVICES TOMORROW FOR BENNETT LAWS Picher, Okla., June 24 - Funeral services for Bennett Laws, 41 years old, who died Saturday night of injuries received at the Lula Belle mine, near Hockerville, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Hockerville Baptist Church. The Rev. J. Grover Scales of Commerce will officiate, assisted by the Rev. L. L. Zimmerman of Miami. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery. According to an official of the Guarantee Mining Company it was incorrectly stated that Laws was fatally injured at the Guarantee No. 4 mine.
