ROSE, FARMER NEAR CARTHAGE, SUCCUMBS Carthage, Mo., Ot. 11-- George Tipton Rose, 78 years old, who resided for 74 years on a farm three miles south of here on Grand avenue road, died at 10:45 o'clock last night in McCune-Brooks hospital after an illness of several years. He was a nitive of Kinderhook, O. Survivors are two sisters, Miss Nellie Irene Rose, of the home, and Mrs. Catherine O'Neil of Kansas City, and two brothers, Ernest Rose of Joplin and Lloyd Rose of Knoxville, Tenn. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Knell service home, the Rev. R. H. Bodine, pastor of First Methodist church here, officiating. Burial will be in Park cemetery.
