Fidelity one of the oldest towns in Jasper County, was laid out by William Clow in 1856. Directly above the town on the North is located Fidelity Cemetery. On October 20, 1851 William Cloe and wife-Emily gave as a gift to the Christian Church, 4 acres (more or less). This Cemetery is taken care of by donations and volunteers.
