For Jefferson.—Mr. Sheriff Withers left last night in the age for Jefferson 
City, having in his custody James E. Gillespie, under sentenced for forty years 
in the Penitentiary, for his participancy [sic] in the murder of young Smith, of 
Cass County, and Richardson found guilty of horse stealing by the Circuit Court, 
and under sentence for two years in the Penitentiary.
