Each and every one present felt deep sympathy for the grief stricken family amdthe very air reeked of kind and consoling thoughts. The Requiem mass was solemn and impressive and the eloquent words of the Father spoken at the close of the Mass were beautiful to hear. There were tears in the eyes of many when the cortege of the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Duffner, who are a very highly respected family, started upon it's final journey to the cemetery and though he is gone he will never be forgotten as the happy care free boy that he was. The Press join the many friends of the entire Duffner family in extending their sincere sympathy in their sad sacrifice and bereavement. Additional Comments: I transcribed this obituary and gave the date of 1/27/1922, which is actually the funeral date. The obituary does not give a death date.
