B. F. WALL,

was born in North Carolina, Rockingham county, March 3, 1828.  His
father, Benjamin F., was a native of the same state; born November 11,
1803, died February 25, 1868.  When B.F. was about six years of age, he
moved to Johnson county, Missouri, and settled on a farm.  His mother,
Susan F., was born September 30, 1806.   Mr. Wall was married to Miss
Eliza Jane Dudley, a native of this county.  Her father was a Virginian,
and died in 1860, at the age of forty-one years.   Their family consists
of three children: Henry J., who lately graduated at the Normal School,
Warrensburg, Cora, and Julius Ezra.  Mr. Wall is a man of determination
and highly respected by all who know him.  No one has larger scope of
friends and neighbors than the Wall family; and nothing but kind and
hospitable treatment is received from their hands.  Himself, wife and
daughter, are members of the Baptist church.  His lands consist of 920
acres, a larger part of it well improved; he has one of the best
dwellings in the county, situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by
all modern improvements.  With the rich blessing of Providence showered
upon the work of his hands, Mr. Wall may well be termed a lord of the
soil.
