Kissee Cemetery, Laclede County, Missouri Kissee Cemetery is located about 61/2 to 7 miles down C. Highway. (Hwy 5 south to C) The cemetery is off the right side of the highway, in a field, on a hill. You can see it from the road. There is a gate you have to open and drive through and a long lane to get there. It was well maintained with a chainlink fence and well mowed. It looks as though some one in recent years has added new stones to graves that had none or were broken. Most of the new stones have no dates. There are some vacant spaces that may be graves with no markers. Between Rows 1 and 2 is a sunken place that may have been a grave. At the end of the last row is a large Yucca plant with a stone in it that is has no visible markings and could be part of a tombstone. It is kind of sunken. I am almost certain it is a grave I started recording in this manner. As you go through the fence gate, I started on the row farthest left in a right to left pattern. ROW 1 Josie B.
