Mrs. Louella McCormick Dies; Funeral Services on Tuesday Afternoon.

Louella McCormick 85 of Lebanon, Missouri died at the home of Mrs. Julia Greek 
on Saturday evening.  Mrs. McCormick was the daughter of William Pink Mizer and 
Mary Elizabeth Mullican. She was born in Laclede County on Feb. 16, 1876. On 
December 24, 1893 she married Mr. James Dempsey McCormick at Bennett Springs.
Mrs. McCormick was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, two 
sons, Steven and Otto McCormick and one grandchild: J. A. McCormick.  

Funeral Arrangements will be conducted by Palmer Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with 
Rev. Dean Rhodes officiating.  Burial will take place at Bolles Cemetery.

Surviors include:  Mrs. Ethel Barber and Mrs. Lois Shumate both of Lebanon, 
Missouri. Mrs. Beulah Atchely of Pubelo, Colorado and Mrs. Margie Smith of Twin 
Falls, Idaho. Four sons Roscoe Jack and William Earl McCormick of Lebanon, 
Missouri. Billy McCormick of McPherson, Kansas and Avard of Topeaka, Kansas.

She also leaves behind two sisters and two brothers: Naomi Augustine of Iowa 
and Alma Coleman of Arizona. Cecil Mizer of Lebanon and Ira Mizer of Kansas 
City, Missouri.  

Mrs. McCormick is survived by 38 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 17 
great-great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
The following obit was submitted by her great-granddaughter, Kendra McCormick. 
Basically, I paraphrased what the original obit said in the newspaper. I added 
the preceded in death part and who and when she was married.
