Lebanon Daily Record
Steven Ernest McCormick 29, of Lebanon, Missouri died August 8, 1942 in Twin 
Falls, Idaho while visiting his sister, Mrs. Rhoma (Margie) Smith and her 
family.Steven had suffered from high blood pressure for the past few years. 
Steven was born March 2, 1913 to James Dempsey and Luella Mullican-Mizer 
McCormick in Lebanon, Laclede County, Missouri.  

Funeral Arrangements will be conducted by Holeman Funeral Home on Wensday after 
noon. Burial will be at Bolles Cemetery. 

Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ben McCormack and Eliza 
McCormack-Fry, William Pink Mizer and Mary Elizabeth Mullicane Mizer.  His 
grandmother, Elizabeth Mizer died a two days before Steven .
Steven was also preceded in death by one nephew: J. A. McCormick.

Survivors include: his parents of Lebanon, Missouri, Four sisters:  Mrs. Margie 
Smith of Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Ethel Barber and Mrs. Lois Shumate both of 
Lebanon, Missouri and Mrs. Beulah Atchely of Colorado. Five brothers: Roscoe 
Jack , Billy, Avard, Otto and Earl McCormick all of Lebanon.  Steve leaves 
behind many friends, nieces and nephews. 

Additional Comments:
This was based on the obit notice appearing in the Lebanon Daily Record in Aug. 
1942. I created my own version because Steve's death notice was just a few 
lines long.  This was submitted by Kendra McCormick his granddaughter.
