Biographical Sketch of Moses Anson, Lafayette County, Missouri >From "History of Lafayette County, Mo., carefully written and compiled from the most authentic official and private sources" St. Louis, Mo. Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** Moses Anson, P. O. Aullville, Missouri; was born December 10, 1835, in Pike county, Missouri, coming with his parents to this county the next year, 1836, being but a year old. His father settled one mile and a half east of Higginsville, and died there in 1841. Moses remained with his mother on the farm. When fifteen years of age, he moved with his mother to Iowa, and remained four years, and then returned to this county. January 6, 1860, he was married to Miss Frances L. Fitzgerald, by which union he has three children, living: Mary E., Minnie Lee, and John H.
