Biographical Sketch of Thomas A. Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** Thomas A. Catron, P. O. Waverly, Mo., was born in this county, October 27, 1847, and is the son of Stephen and Elizabeth Catron, who are natives of Kentucky, and who came to this state in 1820, settling first near Glasgow, and then in 1822 near Lexington, this county. The subject of this sketch was raised on a farm and has followed that occupation all his life. He has now 250 acres of well stocked and well improved land and is one of the most influential farmers in that vicinity. He was married on December 27, 1871, to Miss Leu Callaway, daughter of James and Minerva Callaway, of Cass county, Mo. By this union he has three children: May, Eddie and Mattie L.
