Biographical Sketch of John S. Calloway, Lafayette County, Missouri

The subject of this sketch is a native of Missouri, born in Harrisonville
on December 31, 1844; educated in Bates county, where he was when the war
broke out.  He then enlisted in Peyton's regiment, and was with Price 
most of the time, serving under Holmes, E. K. Smith and Beaureguard; is
the son of James H. and Mary (Martin) Calloway, of Tennessee.
