Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** W. Y. C. Campbell, P. O. Bates City, Missouri,. is a native of this county, where he was born February 19, 1832; he was also raised and educated in this county, and has lived here all his life, engaged in farming. November 4, 1858, he was married to Miss Martha Gleaves, of this county, and by this union has nine children living. He is the son of Henry and Nancy Campbell, who moved from Kentucky to this county in 1820, and settled in Clay township.
