Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** Father Francis C. Curran, Pastor of the Catholic church, Higginsville, was born in the county Leitrim, Ireland, April 21, 1850. His prepara- tory education was received at Summer Hill college at Athlone; after this he attended St. Patrick's College at Carlow, where he received his orders, May 26, 1877. October 26, following he reached St. Louis, Mo.
