Biographical Sketch of Chatham S. Ewing, Lafayette County, Missouri

Chatham S. Ewing, deceased.  Mr. Ewing, one of the pioneer settlers of 
this county, was born in Logan county, Ky., November 30, 1800 and died
September 6, 1872.  He came to Lafayette county, November 30, 1821.  He
was married in October, 1823 to Miss Mary Barnett Young, of Lafayette
county, originally from Tennessee.  They raised three children, all of
whom are living in this county.  Mrs. Ewing died May 1, 1840.
