Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** William Harris, P. O. Chapel Hill, Mo.; was born April 12, 1827, in Sumner county, Tennessee. In November, 1828, he came with his parents to Missouri, and settled in this county, one mile west of Chapel Hill, where he was raised and educated, and has passed most of his life. Soon after he was grown he married Miss Mary E. Joyner, and settled upon the farm on which he now lives. They have five children: Amanda Jane, Josiah Franklin, William Isaac, Judah Cathrine, and Sarah, all educated at Chapel Hill.
