He was married Nov. 20, 1835, to Eliza A. Corder, a native of Va. By this marriage they have p666 seven children, John H., Sarah E., Daniel G., Elizabeth, James, Victoria and Thomas. Mr. Jackson is a member of the Presbyterian church, as is also Mrs. Jackson. He is one of he leading and most prosperous farmers in the county.
