Biographical Sketch of Alfred F. Null, Lafayette County, MO >From "History of Lafayette County, Mo., carefully written and compiled from the most authentic official and private sources" St. Louis, Mo. Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** Alfred F. Null, P. O. Odessa, Mo. Was born and raised in Carroll county, Maryland, from whence he came to this county in 1866 with his parents, and has resided here since, except two years which he spent in Texas, railroading. He has a good farm of 80 acres. In the spring of 1874, he was married to Miss Virginia West, of this county, and to this union were born four children, three of whom are living: Walter Lee, Price A. and Floy May. He served two years in the U. S. army. He was taken prisoner in the Shenandoah Valley, but was soon after released on parole.
