Biographical Sketch of A. R. Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** A. R. Patterson, P. O. Odessa, Missouri. Was born in the state of Kentucky in 1836, and came to this state in 1849 with his parents, and has lived in this county ever since. Has never married. In 1862 he enlisted in the confederate army, and was discharged in 1865. He fought in a number of battles and was captured at Vicksburg and ex- changed and rejoined his command, and served to the end.
