Biographical Sketch of R. M. Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** R. M. Taylor, of the firm of Whitsett & Taylor, was born in Todd county, Kentucky, in 1838. Here he was raised and educated. Has followed farm- ing during the greater part of his life. December 19, 1867 he was married to Miss Mary Bourne, of Logan county, Kentucky. In 1878 he came to Missouri, and settled on a farm, where he remained until the spring of 1881, when he came to Mayview, and became a partner in the above firm. He has three children, two girls and one boy, named as follows: Gertrude, Fannie and Samuel F. Mr. Taylor is a member of the I. O. O. F., and also of the Christian Church.
