Biographical Sketch of Stephen S. Historical Company, 1881. ********************************************************************** Stephen S. White, P. O. Odessa, Missouri. Son of Joseph and Susan White, who moved to this county from Tennessee in 1832, was born in Greene county, East Tenn., April 5, 1817, and now lives within one mile and a half from where his parents first settled. He married Miss Mary C. Ferguson, of Pettis county, and has three sons, who now live with their father or near him. He owns a very fertile farm of 220 acres at the head of the Greenton Valley, one mile from the town of Odessa.
