Historical Company, 1881. ******************************************************************** James F. Wood, physician and surgeon, P. O. Odessa (Sniabar township) The doctor was born and bred in this state and county. Was educated in St. Louis, graduating from the St. Louis Medical College in 1878. He began the practice of medicine at Pink Hill, Jackson county, and in 1879 came to Odessa, where he has since resided, engaged in a lucrative prac- tice. The doctor is genial in disposition, affiable in manners and skilled in his profession, qualities which are sure to win for him an exalted place in the medical fraternity. He is a member of the A. F. and A.
