HENTON CEMETERY, Lewis County, Missouri Alexander Keith Henton moved by wagon to Lewis County, Missouri from Hardin County, Kentucky in the spring of 1832. His brother Walter Briscoe Henton moved to Lewis County in 1835 to a farm adjoining Alexander K. Henton and the Henton family cemetery is located on his old farm. I have heard and read that more people are probably buried in this cemetery but this is all I know of at this time. *Headstone still standing Connie Hayden Young Bloomington, CA 92316 The Henton cemetery is located in Lyon township (Township 62N, Range 7W), Lewis Co., MO approximately one mile on the north road out of Benjamin, Missouri (town no longer exists) and then approximately 3/8 of a mile off the end of the road going west. The cemetery is approximately 50' by 50' and is fenced.
