Thos. Collins to W. G. Brown
Deed

This Indenture made & Entered into this 11th day of October Eighteen Hundred & 
fifty between Thomas Collins & Mary A. Collins his wife of the first part & 
Willis G. Brown of the Second part, all of the parties residing in Lewis 
County State of Missouri.  Witnesseth the party of the first part have this 
day bargained Sold & delivered & do by these presents bargain Sell & convey & 
Deliver All of our right title & Interest unto the party of the Second part & 
their heirs, Said Interest derived from the Estate of Austin Morris deceased 
Said Real Estate lying & being in the County of Lewis & State of Mo. and Known 
& designated as follows, the south East Quarter of Section four Township Sixty 
Range Six the party of the first part have granted bargained sold all of our 
right title & Interest in the above mentioned Real Estate being Seventeen 
acres & seven ninths of Acre unto the party & their heirs of the Second part 
for & in consideration of the Sum of Seventy five Dollars in hand paid the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the party of the first part the said 
party of the first part for themselves their Heirs Executors or Administrators 
or assigns Warrant & Defend the right Title & Interest we had in Said Real 
Estate with all & Singular the rights privileges immunities appurtenances 
belonging to Said Real Estate unto the party of the Second Part & Their Heirs 
forever.  In testimony whereof we the party of the first part have hereunto 
Set our hands & affixed our Seals the Day & year above written.

Be it remembered that on this Eleventh Day of October 1850 appeared Thomas 
Collins & Mary A. Collins his wife who are personally Known to the undersigned 
one of the Justices of the county Court within and for Said County to be the 
persons whose names are Subscribed to the within Deed as parties thereto this 
day appeared before me And acknowledged that they Executed and delivered the 
Same as their voluntary act & Deed for the uses & purposes therein contained 
and the Said Mary A. Collins being by me made acquainted with the contents of 
Said Deed acknowledged on an Examination apart from her Said husband that she 
Executed the same and relinquished her Dower in the real Estate therein 
mentioned freely and without compulsion or undue influence of her Said 
husband.  Given under my hand the Day & Year above written.
