In the County Court, County of Lincoln,} To all Persons to whom these Presents shall Come--Greeting: Know Ye, That whereas, Asa Hiler late of the County of Lincoln, and State of Missouri, died intes- tate, as it is said, having at the time of his death, Property in this State which may be lost, destroyed or diminished in value, if speedy care be not taken of the same. To the end, therefore, that the said Property may be collected, pre- served and disposed of according to law: We do hereby appoint Richard Wommack administrator of all and singular the Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits, which were of the said Asa Hiler at the time of his death, with full power and authority to secure and dispose of said Property according to law, and collect all moneys due said deceased, and, in general, to do and perform all other acts and things which are or hereafter may be required of him by law. In Testimony Whereof, I, F. C. Cake Clerk of the County Court in and for the County of Lincoln, hereto sign my name and affix the seal of said Court, at office in Troy, this 14th day of February, A.D. 1870. F. C. Recorded in Book ? for recording Letters at page 238, 2/14/1870 BOND Know all Men by these Presents: THAT we Richard Wommack, as principal, and Joel Blanks and Frederick Wing as securities, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri, in the just and full sum of One Thousand Dollars, lawful money of the United States, to the payment whereof, well and truly to be made, we, and each of us, bind ourselves, our heirs, executors of adminis- trators, jointly and severally, firmly, by these presents. The Condition of the above Bond is, That if Richard Wommack Administrator________________________ of the Estate of Asa Hiler deceased, shall faithfully administer said Estate, acccount for, pay and deliver all money and property of said Estate, and perform all other things touching said administration required by law,_______________________, or the order or decree of any, Court having jurisdiction, then the above Bond to be void, otherwise to remain in full force. County of Lincoln,} Richard Wommack being duly sworn, says that Eliza Hiller widow, John N. Wm A. Enoch H. Matilda A. Nancy E. Mary E. Eliza F. and Martha J. Hiler children of Lincoln Co, Mo are the only heirs and legal representatives of Asa Hiler deceased, to the best of his knowledge and belief. That the deceased died without a will. That he will make a perfect inventory of, and faithfully administer all the Estate of said deceased; and pay all the debts as far as the assets will ex- tend, and the law direct; and account for and pay, according to law, all assets which shall come to his possession or knowledge.
