She was member of the Presbyterian church and had lived at Olathe about twenty-five years, where she was held in the highest respect. Mrs Beauchamp was mother of the late [10 Apr 1915] Mrs Judge J O Rankin of Paola and visited her daughter and family several times. She is survived by her husband and four daughters.        ---------<>----------             Additional Comments: Josephine (Flora) BEAUCHAMP was born 26 July 1833 in Harrison county, Indiana, first of seven known children to Amanda LENTZ (1812-1862) and John FLORA (1800-1876). She was raised and educated in Hartsville, Bartholomew county, Indiana, married William BEAUCHAMP (1833-1926) in Vermillion county, Illinois the 15th June 1860, first birthed Laura,near Perrysville, Highland Township, Vermillion county, Indiana before moving to Livingston county, Missouri(ah) in 1863 where their other four daughters, Cora, Hattie, Katherine and Carrie, were born before moving to Olathe, Johnson county, Kansas about 1890. Husband and daughter Laura moved to Topeka about 1921, he died 27 December 1926, body returned for burial in Olathe. NOTE! Neither Josephine nor William are listed as buried in the Olathe cemetery, in the cemetery indexed published by the Johnson County Genealogical Society in 1983. Their kids were returned to Olathe for burial, except Hattie at Miami county, so their stones are missing or where overlooked in the reading.
