Atlanta Jan 7th 1919
Dear Sister I received your letter and was very glad to get it I have been sick 
since I got it and had so much other trouble I could not right(write) Well 
Hadley is dead she died the 7 of December I stayed with her till she died. Emma 
I was glad to get your pictures tell Edward overalls is all right some havent 
that much is it very cold out thire they tell me it is offel(awful) 4 my boys 
was rail roaders (----) and did't haft to go I was glad they was working 
(---)fore unkel sam (Uncle Sam) Ervin has (-) boys and one girl and Ella has 3 
girls and 1 boy Will has one boy the rest (----) havent eney (any) Emma you 
right (write) often as you (can) fore I sure like to hear from you and Edward I 
will close fore I dont feel very well to day so good bye (--) I hear from you 
from your loving sister to my beloved sister right soon please Gussie Bogeart,

Additional Comments:
Anna Augusta Palmatier (Gussie Bogeart) widow of George Bogeart was writing to 
her sister in Colorado Emma Cornelia Palmatier (Emma Jones) wife of Edward 
Jones. Both were daughters of Wm Henry Palmatier & Julia Ann Ames. Edward Jones 
was the second husband of Emma Palmatier. She married first Hiram Mackey 11 
Sept 1880 in Macon Co., MO he died from T.B. in Coal Creek, Colorado. Emma was 
living in Rockvale, Fremont Co., CO in 1910 with Edward who was working as a 
coal miner. 
The children of George Bogeart and Gussie Palmatier were:
