Der Christliche Botschafter, 15 May 1872, Cleveland, Ohio
Died safe in the Lord the 25 April Christian F. Langbein near Bloomington, 
Macon Co., Mo., at the age of 69y 7m 1d.  he was born in Backnan, Wurt., and 
joined our church under the instruction of Br. Stambach in Pennsylvania and 
remained true until his death.  Two days before his death we visited him and he 
spoke: "O! I yearn to advance toward my goal!"  He was toatlly dedicated to the 
will of God.  Surviving are a grieving widow and three children--4 children had
