Wadsworth: bobbyjay@flash.net about March 1999 ************************************************* Will of Sterling GEE, 06 Jul 1903 Macon County Will Records, No. 3470 Macon, Missouri July 6th 1903 In the name of God Amen: Be it known that I Sterling GEE of Macon, Missouri being of sound mind and disposing memory and mindful of the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do hereby make execute and publish this my last will and testament for the purpose of disposing of my earthly goods and estate hereby revoking and canceling any and all wills by me heretofore made. Item First: It is my wish that as soon after my death as convenient that all my just debts be paid, including funeral expenses as far as possible out of my personal property. Item Second: Having heretofore given to my son Jacob M. GEE a full share of my means, I devise and bequeath to him One Dollar as his share remaining, and I likewise give and devise to Nannie SHOUSH and Robert SHOUSH, children of my daughter Catherine SHOUSH the sum of One Dollar each as their shares of my estate. I likewise give and devise to Lutie POWELL, nee DUNBAR and Grace DUNBAR children of my daughter Nannie B. DUNBAR the sum of One Dollar each as their shares in my estate. Item Third: I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Carrie A. GEE all the remainder and residue of all property which I may own at my death, including personal property, real estate, and property of all kinds that I may then have, wherever situated for her, said Carrie A. GEE to have, hold, use and enjoy the same during her natural life, and at her death I will and devise that the said real estate and residue of said personal property then remaining, shall pass to and vest in my grandchildren to wit: Ida BAIN, nee Ida McCARTNEY and George McCARTNEY and Nellie McCARTNEY, children of my daughter Mary J. McCARTNEY, Arthur LISTER, child of my daughter Virginia LISTER, and that my said grandchildren shall receive and have full title thereto in fee simple, and in equal shares to those named in this item. Item Fourth: I hereby appoint and constitute Carrie A. GEE and Jacob M. GEE executors of this will and direct that they be allowed to serve without giving bond therefor. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Macon, Mo. on this July 6th 1903 and have requested the witnesses whose names are written below to attest to same. /s/ Sterling GEE We, the undersigned as witnesses at the request of Sterling GEE and in his presence and in the presence of each other do hereby attest the foregoing will and signature of Sterling GEE and further attest that at the time of signing same he was of sound mind.
