Edward Everett Branson, 61, Union, passed away Friday, March 31, 2006 at his 
residence.
Mr. Branson the son of Manuel M. Branson and wife Sarah A. nee Mitchell, was 
born July 1, 1944 in St. James.
Mr. Branson received his education at the St. James Grade Schools and 
Washington High School.
He was united in marriage to Janet Breckenkamp at Lake of the Ozarks, Rocky 
Mount on Oct. 9, 1993.
He was a member of Elks BPOE Lodge 1559 and the United  Brotherhood of 
Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 1987.
He was a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Juanita Measer.
He is survived by his wife, Janet nee Breckenkamp of Union; his first wife and 
mother of his children, Carol J. Branson; one son, Douglas Branson and wife 
Dana of Cameron, N.C.; one daughter, Dawn Dawn Mills and husband Doug of St. 
Charles; one brother, Bill Branson and wife Carol of Washington; one sister, 
Sharon Cox of Wentzville; six grandchildren, Douglas II; Dalton; Dakota; 
Darian; Christian; and Alyssa; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and 
friends. Funeral services were private.
