The Hannibal Journal July 15, 1847
STOLEN.

On the night of July 13th 1847, from the subscriber two miles West of 
Hannibal, on the state road, -- A bright bay horse, sixteen or seventeen hands 
high, six years old, left hind foot white to pasture joint, right hind foot 
has a scar made with a halter, the said horse had on a 5 ring leather halter.  
The horse is in fine order and fine looking.  I will pay $10 reward for the 
horse, and $5 for the thief.
