The application for allimony in this case, by Mrs. Fanny Kemble Butler, came up in the Common Pleas on Saturday. The counsel agreed upon an allowance to Mrs. Butler of $1500 for arrearages due under the settlement by her husband, including expenses of coming to this country and expenses in defending the suit. The Court fixed November 20th for the argument on the libel and answer. The counsel in the case are the Hon. George M. Dallas(?), Hon. Rufus Choate, of Massachusetts, Wm. M. Since the article was in the Marion County newspaper, that is where it is being posted. Note also that I was uncertain regarding the name of the lawyer Dallas.
