Archer, formerly of this city. "Thomas B. Archer, Esq'r., died on the 1st of February near Taos. He had been in bad health for some time, and insisted on accompanying Col. Price's forces against the enemy, and died during the expedition. He was as brave and generous a soul as ever lived, and has left many warm and ardent friends in this county, who will long cherish his memory and lament his untimely end." Additional Comments: The expedition was referring to the fighting in the War against Mexico.
