The Hannibal Journal, 15 July 1847
DIED,
In this city, on the 13th inst., Sidney P. Haines of congestion of the lungs.  
Mr. Haines was a man of strong mind, and unflagging enterprise, and his death 
is a public calamity.


Additional Comments:
There is a Masonic obituary that is more lengthy in July 22, 1847 Hannibal 
Journal.  The Masonic obituary was from St. John's Lodge No. 28 in Hannibal, 
MO.
