The Hannibal Journal, Thursday, October 11, 1849
DIED
On the 4th inst., at the residence of his father, near this city, Mr. Joseph 
K. Johnson, eldest son of John M. Johnson, aged 25 years and one day.

A funeral oration over the deceased, will be delivered at the residence of his 
father, four miles south west of this city, on Sunday, the 21st inst., at 11 
o'clock, by Elders F. Smith and C. Gentry.  His friends and the public 
generally are invited to attend.
