OBITUARY.
Died, at his residence in Union township, on the 3d inst.  Mr. Samuel Read, 
aged about 45 years, after a painful illness of a few days.  Mr. Read was much 
esteemed by all, and bore an unblemished reputation:  he had no enemies.  In 
his death society has experienced a vacuum which cannot easily be filled.
