Hannibal Journal, Thursday, March 4, 1847
DIED

In this city, on the 22 ult., John Wilkinson, eldest son of Wm. W. and Lucinda 
Allen, aged 4 years, 5 months, and 29 days.

The deceased was an uncommon intellect and int_______ child for one of his 
age.  He seemed to have a ______ of his approaching dissolution, and did not 
seem in the least _________ at the approach of his death, but exhibited a 
willingness to meet his fate; as he spake of the fact more than ______ his 
weeping parents, and his physician, with perfect calmness, on the day of his 
death; and when his time had arrived, he sweetly fell asleep in the arms of 
Jesus.

Age of child was not clear so numbers may not be correct as to months and days.
