Hannibal Journal, April 15, 1847
MARRIED.
On the 8th inst., by the Rev. E. M. Marvin, Mr. Robert Monroe Funkhouser, of 
St. Louis, to Miss Sarah Johnson, only daughter of T. R. Selmes, of this city.

The above notice was accompanied by an abundant supply of "creature 
comforts."  Thanks to the happy pair!  Wine and cake this week are as plenty 
as our exchanges, and much more palatable.
