A resident of Anderson, Missouri, he died at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, 
MO.  He was born April 5, 1952 in Redwood Falls, Minnisota to Arlo and Gladys 
Grund Bowers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arlo Bowers.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, having married May 19, 1972 at Essig, 
Minnesota.  He is also survived by his mother, four children, a sister and two 
brothers.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 at the Walker-Dowd 
Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Missouri.
