It is not fenced and all but one stone is down on the ground. Stones are broken and one is leaning against a tree. There is evidence that cows are permitted to graze through the cemetery. Marcus M. Palmer, born 15 Jun 1828; died 27 August 1912 Mary E. Palmer, born 27 December 1831; died 16 January 1903; one stone Broken stone - only information obtainable 12 ---1812 born 19 January 1863 died. These are the exact dates for Mila Ann Burris Harrison and it is pretty indicative that she is buried here. Wooohooo! Mary E. Palmer is her daughter and Marcus M. Palmer is her son in law. This cemetery may be reached by traveling south from Eldon on Highway 54 and 52 to ElRancho. Take Highway 52 towards Tuscumbia. Go past the Jim Skinner vault and take the first gravel road to the right. Cross two low water bridges and you will come to a T in the road. Go left (or south) about 0.3 mile. Take the first left hand road. About 0.3 mile this road makes a 90 degree swing. Just before this abrupt turn you will see a gate and private road leading south. The cemetery lies in the field south of the gate about 100 yars from the gravel road and about 100 feet from the private road.
