Brown of the County of Monroe and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth the Said Hamilton and Rodah Haley his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred and Seventy dollars in hand paid by the Said Willis G. Brown the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge the Said Hamilton Haley and wife as by these presents grant bargin and Sell unto the Said Willis G. Brown the following tract or parcels of land being and lying in Said County of Monroe and State aforesaid described and Known as follows to wit: the West half of the South West quarter of Section twenty two Township fifty five Range twelve West of the fifth principal meridian Containing Eighty acres more or less unto the Said Willis G. Brown his heirs and assigns forever together with all and Singular the improvements and appertances thereunto belonging and the Said Hamilton Haley and Rodah his wife will forever Warrent and defend the title of the above described lands against the Claim or Claims of all persons whatsoever. In Testimony whereof we have hereunto Set our hands and affixed our Seals this day and date above written. Hamilton Haley (Seal) Roda (her x mark) Haley (Seal) State of Missouri) County of Monroe) I Joseph Patton an acting Justice of the peace in & for said County do hereby Certify that the above named Hamilton Haley and Rodah his wife who were personally Known to me to be the persons whose names are Subscribed to the foregoing deed of Conveyance as having executed the same this day in there proper persons came before me & acknowledged that they severally signed Seled and delivered the Said deed for the use and purposes therein mentioned and the Said Rodah Haley his wife being made fully acquainted with the Contents of the said deed and by me examined Seperate and apart from her Said husband acknowledged that she executed the Said deed and relinquished her dower to the lands and tenements therein mentioned Voluntarily and freely and without compulsion of her said husband.
