W. Eubank Deed This Indenture made and entered into this 12th day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty three between James King of the County of Monroe & State of Missouri of the first part and D. & J. W. Eubank of the county & state aforesaid of the second party. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty Dollars to me in hand paid by the party of the second part the Receipt of which is hereby acknowledged I hereby give grant bargain sell convey transfer and make over over [sic] unto the said D. & J. W. Eubank their heirs and assigns forever the following described tract or parcel of land (to wit) the North West fourth of the South West 1/4 of Section fourteen Township fifty five Range 12 the west half of the aforesaid fourth containing Twenty (20) acres more or less to have and to hold unto the said D. & J. W. Eubank their heirs & assigns forever the aforementioned premises and all the appertenances and the said James King do for myself my heirs executors and administrators covenant to warrant and defend the title of said premises to the said D & J. W. Eubank their heirs and assigns against any and all person legally claiming the land in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal day & date first above written. James King (Seal) State of Missouri ) County of Monroe) Be it Remembered that James King who is personally known to the undersigned Justice of the peace to be the same person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing deed as a party thereunto this day appeared before me at Madison in the County aforesaid and acknowledged that he executed the said deed voluntarily for the uses and purposes therein expressed.
